Terms and conditions for booking Karen Schmidt


Payment terms
For presentations and workshops a deposit of 50% is required on acceptance of this project agreement. The remaining 50% and any travel expenses are payable at the completion of the project.

For consulting projects a deposit of 20% is required to commence the project. Consulting fees are then invoiced on a monthly basis for the duration of the project.

All invoices are payable within 7 days of issue.

Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to a booking will attract no fee. Cancellations of less than 30 days notice will result in a forfeit of any deposit paid.

Postponement
In the event that a project is postponed by more than one month once a deposit has been paid, a 10% administration fee will be charged.

Travel
Projects requiring travel outside the Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast region will be charged at $0.70 per km.

Events held more than 3 hours drive from Brisbane will require air travel.

Where air travel is required, the client will be charged for an economy class fare with Qantas, accommodation, meals and transfers.
